My Phone Number Is Coming Up As SPAM

If you believe your telephone number is currently being flagged as SPAM on the called party’s Caller ID, you can contact their telecommunications provider for review. After verification, the SPAM tag may be removed from your number and your status updated.

The recently passed TRACED (Telephone Robocall Abuse Criminal Enforcement and Deterrence) Act, which mandates that telephone carriers implement standards to combat robocalling, is also affecting legitimate businesses since aggressive outbound calling can lead to a telephone number being flagged as SPAM. Depending on the provider, Caller ID can show up as SPAM, Spam Likely, Scam Likely, Telemarketing, etc.

First Orion, Hiya, and Transaction Network Services have partnered to streamline the telephone number registration process with major analytics engines. This free portal helps entities reach the analytics companies that support major wireless carriers in the US.

By registering your entities contact information and phone numbers, your information is sent directly to each of the three participants. Each Analytics Engine vets the information and directly follow-ups with the registrant.  Start by registering at https://freecallerregistry.com/fcr/​
